The Samsung SGH-A701 is the top of the line mobile phone from Samsung and compatible with Telstra’s new high speed HSDPA network: Next G.
The A701 is a sleek looking mobile phone. Measuring 98.3mm x 51.5mm x 17.3mm and weighing 93g, it fits snugly in your palm and comfortable to pocket. As what’s these days a mid-sized mobile, the A701 shares roughly the same footprint as phones like the Motorola RAZR, although it’s noticeably thicker and heavier — not bad things if you like a little heft in your handset, and certainly nothing that will prevent it from slipping easily into a pocket.

The last three months of 2006 brought quite a few forgetful products. Each of the products listed here received a rating of 2 or below (on a scale of 5, which is the best).

Category: Security Software/Antispyware
Pros: Scanning is very fast after initial full scan. Removed most malware in testing.
Cons: Limited ability to block the installation of spyware on a clean system. Display of found threats is awkward. Confusing terminology.
Bottom Line: Max Secure Spyware Detector 2.0 is speedy and reasonably good at cleaning up infected systems, but poor at keeping spyware out of clean systems.

We can best describe Nokia’s “Internet Tablet” as a small handheld computer that is a master blend - incorporating many of the best features you will find on many of the devices mentioned above. Sound cool?

All new phones need a unique selling point and the Samsung SCH-V960 is no different. This time, Samsung Electronics , a leading provider and innovator of mobile phones, launches the world’s first mobile phone featuring an optical joystick, which it claims will revolutionise the way users interact with the menu and user interface of mobile handsets.
Slide your finger on the optical joystick, then as you move it, the cursor, using optical sensors, scrolls around in similar fashion to a PC mouse, instead of just in four directions like most directional controls on cellphones. Then you can click on the icons on the screen, similar interface to that on a PC environment.
