Apple has introduced their first phone - IPhone.  The design of the IPhone really impressed me.  From what I read from Apple website, iPhone combines their 3 products: a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching into one small and lightweight handheld device.<br />

IPhone is running on sophistication of the world’s most advanced operating system — OS X which allows access to true desktop-class applications and software including rich HTML email, full-featured web browsing, and applications such as widgets, Safari, calendar, text messaging, Notes, and Address Book.  We will discuss on it later.</p>
<p><strong>iPhone is a widescreen iPod</strong><br />
Phone is a 11.6 millimeter thick device and comes with a 3.5inch 480 x 320 touch screen display with multi-touch support.  It let you enjoy music, audiobooks, videos, TV shows, and movies on a beautiful widescreen display. You can scroll through your songs, artists, albums, and playlists with just a flick of a finger.  Just like IPod, IPhone lets you to synchronize your content from the iTunes library on your PC or Mac. To playback a video, you can just tap the touch control for play/pause,chapter forward/backward, and volume.</p>
<p><strong>iPhone is a revolutionary new mobile phone</strong><br />
You can <strong>make a call</strong> by touching at a name or number in address book, a call log, or a favorites list, it is very simple and ease. Besides, you can quickly merge calls together to create conference calls.<br />

<p><strong>Visual Voicemail</strong> allows lets you select and listen to voicemail messages in whatever order you want. So you can quickly select the messages that are most important to you.<br />

<p>iPhone features an <strong>SMS application</strong> with a predictive QWERTY soft keyboard whic prevents and corrects mistakes. This make it easier and more efficient to use compare to other smartphone.<br />

<p>iPhone includes a <strong>2-megapixel camera</strong> and a photo management application. With IPhone, you can synchronize all your contacts from a PC, Mac, or Internet service with your mobile phone.</p>

iPhone features the most advanced <strong>Safari web browser</strong> which automatically syncs bookmarks from your PC or Mac. Safari also includes built-in Google and Yahoo! search.<br />

<p>IPhone comes with a rich <strong>HTML email client</strong> that receive your email in the background from most POP3 or IMAP mail services.<br />

<p>iPhone has <strong>widgets</strong> which is a small applications that give you helpful information like stock reports, weather reports, and more in real time.</p>
<p>Besides, Apple quotes 5 hours of battery life for talk or video, with a full 16 hours in music mode.  The 4GB iPhone will go out the door in the US as a Cingular exclusive for $499 on a two-year contract, 8GB for $599. Ships Stateside in June, Europe in fourth quarter, Asia in 2008.</p>
