The original LG Chocolate phone was such a popular phone back then in 2006. The LG Chocolate sold in large numbers and got LG noticed by consumers. Many Nokia and Sony Ericsson consumers even switch to LG because of this phone! The sleek and glossy design was one of the best looking cell phones around until the iPhone turned up.

Anyway, do check out these shots of the next generation LG Chocolate. We call it LG Chocolate 2009.

One thing we know about the LG KF750 Secret is that it’s hard to resist. LG Secret KF750 is a very stylish slider phone with a few fun tricks up its sleeve. Well, LG has done it again with an attractive phone that will keep you entertained all day!

This cellphone seems to have all the features – beautifully finished exterior, top-notch skill and a few exotic extras to spice things up. LG Secret features a 5 megapixel camera, slow motion and Fast video recording, carbon fiber battery cover and tempered glass over the display. The other highlights are the Neon Touch Navigation and Touch media navigation. The only negatives are below average battery life and poor reception (reported by some users).

Although this phone is not marketed as a camera phone, the Secret hides a 5-megapixel camera! Tests found the Secret’s camera quite fun to use, particularly for shooting videos. However, there’s no xenon flash so don’t expect well-illuminated shots in low light conditions. What is sweet, you can add music by overlaying it on to a video while you’re shooting or even afterward to create a music video. Post editing tools also let you add some cool special effects!

Nevertheless, the LG KF750 Secret is a phone worth considering whether for its good looks, top quality build or solid performance. Its sexy and sleek appeal should extend beyond the fashion phone niche occupied by previous Black Label models.

In conclusion, we like LG Secret’s slim design, HSDPA and video features. What we do not like are:

lack of xenon flash on the camera

touchscreen functionality only works in certain parts of the phone

slow scrolling web browser and photo viewer

inconsistent charge indicator

Key features of LG Secret KF750:-

2.4″ 262K-color display of QVGA resolution

Touch-screen functionality and auto screen rotation

5 megapixel autofocus camera with AF-assist light

VGA video recording at 30 fps

SloMo and Fast video recording

Touchpad with haptic feedback

USB and Bluetooth connectivity

Carbon fiber battery cover and tempered glass display

3G with HSDPA

Hot-swap microSD card slot

Ambient light sensor

Built-in accelerometer

FM radio

DivX player

LG announced the new LG KS660 not too long ago. This is first touch screen phone by LG with a slot for two SIM-cards. LG points out this cellphone is designed for business people with a busy schedule, since both SIM cards are in the device, thus call waiting may be active for up to four calls at once.

Phones that allow using two SIM cards simultaneously are great and come in handy in a lot of situations. They allow you to carry only one, instead of two cellphones, which is necessary, in case you have a business number and a personal number for example. Unfortunately, with a few exceptions (made by Samsung), such devices are being developed by Chinese manufacturers with a doubtful reputation.

That’s why the appearance of a dual SIM phone, coming from LG is a good news!

LG KS660 is equipped with special functions for business, managed through a convenient interface. In fact, I think it is this mini PC in a thin form factor. Touch screen provides quick access to all information necessary for conducting business. One click opens access to many widgets, including a calendar, plans, notebook, spreadsheet, which can be arranged to the way you like it.

Features of the LG KS660 dual SIM phone include:

Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz)

3 inch touch sensitive TFT-display with a WQVGA resolution 240×400 pixels and 262K colors

5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and video recording (720×480)

FM-radio

50 MB internal memory

Memory card slot for microSD up to 4 GB

Integrated accelerometer

Slots for two SIM-cards

Battery 950 mAh

Standby time – 250 hours

Time running conversation – 3.5 hours

Dimensions – 105×55×14,9 mm

Weight – 115 grams

One of the most interesting fallouts of the Apple iPhone launch is the ever-growing trend of touch-screen phones. LG was one of the first manufacturers of this bunch with phones such as the LG Voyager and the LG Vu dazzling us with features that we couldn’t get on the iPhone, such as live mobile TV.

Particularly with the hardware, LG Dare seems determined to differentiate itself from its iPhone competition, with helpful tactile feedback while typing, great handwriting recognition, video recording (in slow-mo, if you’d like) and even editing, and the beefed-up photo taking capabilities that a 3.2 megapixel camera and built-in flash provide. The basics aren’t too bad either, with a sturdy and bright screen, peppy EV-DO Rev A., expandable memory and an excellent 3.5mm headphone jack.

In short the LG Dare has an intuitive touch-screen interface, an advanced 3.2-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, EV-DO Rev. A, and plenty of other powerful features. It also has excellent call quality.

However, all is not sweet. The LG Dare’s touch interface has a slight learning curve. The smaller size of the Dare also results in a smaller space for the 3-inch-wide display. Though we were fine with it for most applications, but it deters us from enjoying the full HTML browser, since we have to do more scrolling than usual.

Check out this LG Dare video too.

LG will soon offer a new handset for UK’s mobile users, the KS360, a fairly unremarkable looking phone at first glance, looks like a pretty standard slider phone when you first see it. But the unique selling proposition here is that the slide-out keypad has a full QWERTY arrangement rather than a standard number pad.

The KS360, with 102 x 51 x 17mm in size, has horizontal 2.4-inch screen and 240 x 320 pixel screen resolution, and underneath which is the slide-out QWERTY keyboard and the host of other keys and peripheral ports.

LG KS360 is targeted towards youngsters who mostly use their mobile phones for texting, emailing and social networking.

The keyboard on the KS360 is interesting for a couple of reasons. On the positive side, the key spacing is very good which should help when composing messages. On the negative side, the layout is a little more creative than usual – the space bar is where the V and B keys usually are, so the bottom row of keys is split.

The new LG also comes with an accelerometer as well as the following features: tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, a 2 Megapixel camera with fixed focus and video recording, Music player with support for MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+, FM Radio, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, MMS capabilities, WAP browser, Instant Messaging, email (POP3, IMAP4, SMTP and Microsoft Exchange), USB, only 15MB of internal memory and microSD card support for up to 4GB.
