LG, one of the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer, launched the KT520 3G slider mobile phone in Taiwan.

The KT520 is a slider with new finger mouse. The device is mainly targeted for the Net surfers, with its zoom in/out functions, dedicated Internet Hotkey and single band HSDPA. The new slider weighs 100 grams, measures 100 x 50 x 15 millimeters.

It features 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, 10x digital zoom and video recording plus a secondary video calling camera. Unfortunately, there’s no flash on it.

The KT520 features a 2.2″ QVGA high-contrast display, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0, a pretty comprehensive multimedia player and microSD expandable memory, plus a web browser and email client.

LG will soon offer a new handset for UK’s mobile users, the KS360, a fairly unremarkable looking phone at first glance, looks like a pretty standard slider phone when you first see it. But the unique selling proposition here is that the slide-out keypad has a full QWERTY arrangement rather than a standard number pad.

The KS360, with 102 x 51 x 17mm in size, has horizontal 2.4-inch screen and 240 x 320 pixel screen resolution, and underneath which is the slide-out QWERTY keyboard and the host of other keys and peripheral ports.

LG KS360 is targeted towards youngsters who mostly use their mobile phones for texting, emailing and social networking.

The keyboard on the KS360 is interesting for a couple of reasons. On the positive side, the key spacing is very good which should help when composing messages. On the negative side, the layout is a little more creative than usual - the space bar is where the V and B keys usually are, so the bottom row of keys is split.

The new LG also comes with an accelerometer as well as the following features: tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, a 2 Megapixel camera with fixed focus and video recording, Music player with support for MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+, FM Radio, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, MMS capabilities, WAP browser, Instant Messaging, email (POP3, IMAP4, SMTP and Microsoft Exchange), USB, only 15MB of internal memory and microSD card support for up to 4GB.

A new mobile-web centric phone Touch Web phone ‘LG-LH2300’ has been unveiled by LG Electronics in Korea market, which features a 3-inch wide full touchscreen LCD with 800 x 480(Wide VGA) resolution. The upcoming LG LH2300 Touch Web phone comes with total web-surfing capabilities as LG promised before, featuring a jog wheel, an Internet hot key, and a Quick Search icon.

LG didn’t stop with the web though as the LH2300 also packs T-DMB mobile TV, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD memory, and a jog wheel for easy page scrolling.

The LG-LH2300 Touch Web Phone also features a 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus and microSD memory card slot. Its 3 megapixel camera sports face recognition and anti-shake technology.

LG Electronics launched their new Cyon series which is named Wine Phone FOMA L750i in Japan market. The new FOMA L750i enchanced it’s voice calling and SMS sending, receiving functionality. This is targeting for 30 to 40 year old consumers.

It also sports a 2.2-inch LCD, double-sized buttons, speaker, and word format. Four buttons serve for the frequently used applications of voice recording, setting, alarm, and schedule. the Wine phone can enlarge even invisible words via built-in camera and offer words format twice bigger than that of the existing phone.

LG has yet another new handset on the market, with the KH1800 ‘Orange’ phone launching in Korea. The KH1800 also known as “Orange colored phone” in Korea. As you might have guessed from the name (not to mention the photo) the KH1800 features bright orange accents as well as orange colored numerals on the keypad.

Specification is pretty average, packing in a 1 Megapixel camera, e-dictionary, MP3 player and 3G conectivity. The 13.3 mm thick LG device features an additional multi-task key, which allows you to text, browse your contacts, and play with alarm settings even when your on the phone

In addition, the KH1800 will feature 3G WCDMA connectivty, a media device, and text viewer. The phone will be priced at around 352,000 KRW ($348) from KTF Telcom.

LG Electronics officially launched its Rhapsody in Music Phone with model number LG-LB3300 in Seoul, Korea. Mark Levinson who is the founder of MLAS, the high-end audio manufacturing company, participated in the development of the Rhapsody in Music Phone.

As a real music phone, this handset comes with a built-in 1GB, enables you to stores up to 256 songs as well as support up to 4GB of expandable external memory. Adopting touch wheel key and LED lighting, the LG-LB3300 supports Bluetooth headphone. There are 8 equalizer setting including natural, pop, classic, jazz and etc.

According to the company, they release two kinds of the phone with black and white, and its pink model is expected to be available in February, 2008.

LG has launched a new fashion handset called “Cyon Crystal Edition” in Korea. The handset which also known as the LG-SV300S/LV3000S, designed by Robery Ryan, a chief designer of ‘Pau Smith’, is a clamshell handset featuring a a floral theme and the crystal flower dressing with jewelry on the outside complete with a large keypad design to cater for those with larger digits.

An internal 2.2″ TFT LCD display ought to be enough for everyday use, while the external display is much smaller. It comes with external controls, and a “big size keypad”. Additional details are extremely scant, so we have absolutely no idea on whether it will be available for other regions or not. The LG Cyon Crystal Edition sure is a looker though.

LG introduced their latest 3G series smartphone, the KS10, at the 3GSM World Congress 2007. The KS10 features fully functioning internet capabilities. The highlights of the new smartphone including high speed HSDPA internet connectivity, which can transfer data up to 1.8Mbps, and allowing streaming of high quality TV.

The KS10 looks more and less like other stylish phones from LG. It is a slider phone, so that they can maximize the screen size to 2.4 inches. The KS10’s 2.4-inch QVGA screen looks to be crisp and clear with 262K colors.

Along with its full internet feature, it can record browsed pages, sort, capture web pictures, a keyword search, and has a built in MP3 player.

The phone is comes with integrated 2.0 megapixels camera with maximum resolution up to 1600×1200 pixels. The camera feacturins automatic focus, anti-red eye effect, scene and lighting adjustment. Besides the main camera, there is a frontal camera for video calling too.

LG has just added a new slider phone to its Black Label Series that includes the very popular Chocolate phone. The new handset is called the LG Shine and comes in a stainless steel casing.

With measure up 51mm x 98mm x 14mm and weight of 115g, the Shine has a a 2.2″ 262,000 colour “mirror effect” display (almost definitely 240×320 pixels). The front section of the phone also houses a scroll wheel for easy navigation. Application control is through using this scroll wheel plus two soft keys.

The Shine has 70Mb of internal memory and expandable using microSD cards, a 2 megapixel camera with a Schneider Kreuznach lens and flash, Bluetooth and quad-band GSM support.

The body of the Shine is of the shiny metal variety, giving a sort of brushed metal effect that Apple loves to tack onto its applications nowadays. The Shine is also able to set user-recorded video and set it as the wallpaper.

The LG Shine has a web browser, email client and MP3 player which you can find in most of the smartphone in the market.

The PRADA Phone by LG KE850 is a real breakthrough in the industry, as it is a unique, sophisticated and elegant mobile phone with the first complete advanced touch interface.

With only 12mm, It’s looks sleek and super thin. The new LG KE850 is weighing just 85 grams which is lighter 50 grams compare to IPhone. The KE850 measures 99 x 54 x 12mm which is somewhat more compact than its Apple rival.

The LG KE850 PRADA is a tri-band GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE, there’s a large 240×400 pixel touch-sensitive display that can playback widescreen video clips. The handset’s music player supports various formats such as MP3, ACC, ACC+, WMA, RA, music multitasking (messaging), while the video player supports formats such as MPEG4, H.263 and H.264.

The LG KE850 comes with Bluetooth 2.0, microSD expandable memory, and FM radio and a two megapixel CMOS camera with integrated LED Flash. The camera uses a Schneider Kreuznach lens to ensure high-quality optics.

The user interface utilizes Macromedia Flash. All powerpoint, documents, spreadsheets, pdf files and text files will be easily viewed on the PRADA phone.

The LG KE850 doesn’t support for 3G or WiFi. Internal memory is a measly 8Mb, so a memory card will be essential. The other downer is the battery – it’s only has 800mAh. For a graphics intensive handset, this is barely enough to keep it going for a few hours.
