The Nokia Twist is a device with 3G capability that sports a 2.4-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixel) display which is capable of rendering up to 262,000 different colors. It weighs about 98g and is 69mm square in size. Bluetooth support for headsets and stereo headphones is also supported.

Although this is a very different looking handset, Verizon says that the Twist should be available from September 13th onwards at just under USD100 after a USD50 rebate. The catch is you need to sign up a 2 year contract.

Nokia 3720 Classic is a smart looking mobile phone, it is at least much more “normal” looking than some other rugged phones.

This phone is good if you need to pick it up to call for help after having fallen into your bathtub but don’t count on making any phone calls or even sending text messages from underwater – this is because the radio waves may not reach deeper than a few inches below the surface.

This mobile phone is made primarily for the Chinese market. The touch screen on the Nokia 6208c is optimized to write Chinese characters and messages in the most natural way, with a stylus. The Nokia 7100 Supernova is certainly one of the more affordable Supernova phones from Nokia. It is not equipped with those fancy high-tech features, but it is a really practical handset. If you are interested in a basic cellphone that only costs around US$94, then you can consider Nokia 7100 Supernova.

The 6720 Classic has a 2.2-inch TFT QVGA, music player with support for MP3, AAC and WMA, FM tuner, and a dual-LED flash. Standby time is 20.5 days and talk time is 5 / 8.5 hours for 3G and GSM, respectively.

The Nokia 6720 Classic supports N-Gage gaming, it comes complete with a web browser, email client and instant messaging support. Nokia claims that the 6720 Classic should be available during Q2 2009 for an estimated price of €245. So far, we have spotted brown, titanium and grey color schemes, although other colors may be introduced also.

The Homescreen features an improved contacts bar with up to 20 friends and family members and provides direct access to music, N-Gage and other applications, such as Facebook, Photos, Ovi Contacts, Maps, messaging and more. Usefully, the 5730 XpressMusic comes with an 8GB microSD card, and it even has dedicated media keys.

The 5730 has a better stills camera compared to Nokia E75, using Carl Zeiss optics, but the maximum video capture rate at 640 x 480 pixels is only 15 frames per second, half that of the E75.

The 5730 has access to Nokia’s new Music Store and can share files on Ovi. It’s quite a heavy phone at 135 grams, and it measures at 112 x 51 x 15mm. The 1000 mAh battery provides up to 4 hours talktime and 11 days standby time on 3G. Available color options are red, monochrome, blue and pink.

Some obvious features that the E63 shares with the E71 are the QWERTY keyboard and the 2.36 inch QVGA display. As with the E71, the E63 is a 3G phone with WiFi support, microSD expandable memory, email and VPN support, a web browser, multimedia player, an FM radio and the Symbian S60 operating system. I have to admit I particularly love its email and VPN support.

Both handsets can use Nokia’s Ovi service, and E63 even has enhanced file sharing capabilities.

Given the success of the Nokia E71, we see no reason why the Nokia E63 should be any different, potentially swaying users who didn’t fancy learning a BlackBerry operating system or the E71′s higher price… especially when you consider that it is also much cheaper than the Nokia 6500 Slide and Classic handsets.
