Cute USB Robot Webcam

This cute and tiny USB powered Robot Webcam that looks a lot like Honda Asimo is catching my eyes while I was surfing around the engadget website.
Although it doesn’t have much robotic abilities, but it features a non-webcam related functions. What is that? Haha, it does have glowing white LED eyes and red LED ears that light up when it detects darkness or ambient light in the room is too low.
With a quite low price of a mere $24, it’s not much better compare with the built-in webcam, which will only give you a basic VGA resolution with none of the fancy face-tracking or other features now common in non-robot webcams. You really can’t expect much more than a cutesy little USB robot to sit atop your monitor.
The actual VGA resolution is 350k pixels and it records in 24-bit true color. The frame rate is 30fps and it can record resolutions of 640 x 480, 320 x 240, and 160 x 120. The cam works with Win XP, 2000, ME and 98.
Here’s a suggestion, you can check out here for a webcam that performs better.
