You can set up a calendar for your school’s football or badminton team, and share it with the whole team, so that the team members wont forget the schedule again. Or share with friends and family so you can view each other’s schedules side by side.

Invitations:
You can create an event invitations, send them to friends, and keep track of people’s responses and comments, all in one place.

Quick Add:
To do the event adding, you can just click anywhere on your calendar and start entering. It’s so easy and quick.

I have been using gCal for a while now and its great. The other great thing about it you didn’t mention is that they offer their API out to anyone and because of this there have been some great apps for it like GooSync (for mobile sync) and Calgoo (for offline sync, outlook sync, ical sync, etc).

Who doesnt love stuff that can sync sync sync!!

I love gcal but you forgot to mention the best thing about it! – they released the API fairly early on and now have tons of cool apps like goosync (for mobile sync) and calgoo (for sync with – well damn near everything else).

got to love a program that can sync sync sync!!!
