ive had this phone for about 8 months. in the time ive had it, ive disliked it even more everyday. at first it was cool, but after three months, i got sick of the plastic thing and i ripped it off . it looks retarded, nd i dont get an update for another two months. if your thinking about buying this phone, think really hard because its not worth it. ive never been so frustrated in my life.

(This is lengthy, but I've got some venting to do) I am on my second Krave ZN4. I broke my last one punching it and making the screen go blank. I was trying to tell my brother that my uncle was in the hospital with chest "P"ains and everytime I hit the "p" button, the "o" button would register instead. I would even use my finger nail to press the button to be more precise, and still, a button one or two spaces over would register. (My 2nd one was the result of having insurance on the phone.) And yes, if you use real words, or ones you make up, it will autocorrect them for you without your permission, and there's no way to turn this off.

This is obviously a bugged "first try" that should get better, or they will go under. I HATE THIS PHONE. At first I thought it was cool, but now it's a sloppy made POS that was rushed out to the market without refinement. The keyboard is crap, the calculator does not have a scientific option when turned on its side. I have to constantly reboot the machine to get the keyboard to work accurately. If the charger is attached, you can't get anything to work, it jams up, then twitches and registers 15 functions in a row like a computer that's hard drive is freezing the system. Anyone who likes this crap-loaf either has a better one (or two) than I've had or they're just very easy going.

I miss physical buttons, don't believe the touch-screen hype. It's really not that great, it's just more sensors to go bad. The only nice thing on it is a great camara. It works great, but I can't get the pics off of it or put songs on it w/o using my old Sony Ericon as a go-between. Simply b/c the greedy ppl @ Verizon aren't willing to make a phone that acts as a jump drive when attached to the PC. No, you have to buy their 45$ software separately to make use of the phone like that. I loved my Sony Ericson. The camara sucked, but when plugging the phone to a PC, the SIM card and the internal RAM both loaded as jump-drives on the PC. Then I could simply copy/cut/paste files back and forth between PC and phone. Now to get anything off of this phone, I have to use the Ericson's bluetooth as a middle man to get a pic file from this junk-heap to the computer. (I'm a penny-pincher, I don't like spending 50 bucks on a driver CD). Also, this thing will not read the MP3 or WMA format like most phones, instead you've got to convert it to the VZ format. (Stinking monopolists)

LH is 100% right i need to remember to stick to LG, I have never had this much trouble with one phone (well two considering its my SECOND ONE!!!!) i have 8 more months with this time vampire. 30 minutes to type a 1 sentence text message, no speed dial, auto spell correct corrects real words into others (ex and changed to her....) people usually respond to me with ??? because they do not know what i am trying to say after my Krave messes with the words i typed and backspaces random things. It takes 5 clicks to start texting someone and that is if you get them all on the first time which is a rare experience, i complained to customer service and they had me take out the battery and put it back in and also reset it (do they really pay these people?) The only way to get use from this phone is if you are someone who does not text, has very little contacts, does not take videos record sounds or take a lot of pictures, and only uses cell phones for emergencies.(although i find that having to take 5min to dial 911 awfully dangerous) Doesnt even look that cool after the top screen starts to get scratched and it actually traps dirt and dust under the top screen making the actual touch screen more dirty/smudged etc, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

See below from Verizon Support. It would appear that they think you can at least sync music to the phone. I believe this only works with Rhapsody though versus using something like Microsoft active sync. Plus you have to download the USB drivers from Motorola's website to your PC.

How to Transfer Music from Your PC to Your Phone

 1. Open the V CAST Music with Rhapsody software on your PC.
 2. Use the USB cable to connect your phone to your PC. Please have your phone turned on.
 3. Your phone should automatically be placed into the Sync Music state and show Connected. On the PC, you should see the phone listed in the Sources portion of the V CAST Music with Rhapsody software.
 4. On the PC, drag and drop songs or playlist that you wish to transfer to the phone listing in the Sources area.
 5. When the sync process completes, on your phone. Exit the Sync Music application and disconnect the cable from your phone.
 6. Under the Music & Tones menu, open My Music to view and play your music.

I have had a Krave for about a month. The web browser is almost useless, it has a round thumb size pointer that you must tap to navigate. The problem is you can't get it to stay still so when you tap it, you get something totally different than what you were aiming at. Also, the battery does not last long, about three to twelve hours (depending on your use) then you need a charge.
At this time there is no software to sync with the PC, for me that is a big problem. You can purchase a USB cord, but why?? USB cord should equal sync??? Additional ringtones must be purchased from Verizon for $2.99 up, TV plan requires more money. The data plan is reasonable, $15 for unlimited with a voice plan.
