Nokia has brought out a trio of ultra-affordable candybar cell phones, the 2320 Classic, 2323 Classic, and 2330 Classic.

These few new handsets are aimed primarily at developing markets, with a number of features under the hood that you might not expect.

Premium looks and practicality are the hallmarks of the Nokia 2320 classic, Nokia 2323 classic and Nokia 2330 classic. These affordable devices support Nokia’s newly announced Mail on Ovi mobile email service, as well as the recently unveiled Nokia Life Tools, which offers farmers a way to keep on top of their markets.

The Nokia 2320 Classic features dual-band GSM (850/1900MHz or 900/1800MHz) support, in addition to an estimated 26 days of standby, for nearly a month between charges.

A built-in calendar is also on board to help organize your life. The Nokia 2323 Classic builds on this by adding a built-in FM radio and an internet browser.

The Nokia 2323 Classic is a very low cost handset, priced at around €40 (£30) before tax and subsidy. It features a 1.8″ 120 x 180 pixel display, an FM radio, MP3 ringtones, GPRS and EDGE data, a web browser and email client.

Although the small screen is a significant limitation, you’ll probably have to admit that these are pretty good features for a handset that costs this little.
In addition, the Nokia 2323 classic offers an FM radio with recording and an Internet browser.

The Nokia 2330 Classic is your basic budget phone. This is a dual band GSM device with GPRS support and sporting a stereo FM radio with FM recording. The Nokia 2330 classic is also equipped with an integrated camera.
