Nokia 7500 Prism

Nokia held a fashion event in China where the 8600, 8800 Sirocco gold, 6110 navigator, 5700 XpressMusic, 6500 classic, 6500 slider, 3500 classic and a new phone was displayed. The new phone unveiled is the Nokia 7500 Prism.

Nokia 7500 Prism is an unusual fashion phone with triangular keys. Nokia’s 7500 was caught on camera initially in a “spy picture” that resembles a horrific attempt at creating a Microsoft Paint masterpiece, but an entirely more stunning iteration hit the ‘net shortly thereafter giving more legitimacy to its reality.
As for the specs, they are as follows: this is a fashion phone on Series 40 platform, is a 2G handset with EDGE and GPRS data, equipped with a 262K colours, 240×320 pixels QVGA-display, an expansion slot for microSD cards (512MB included in the standard package), Bluetooth interface and a MP3 player. In the updated news from Nokia China, the Nokia 7500 Prism comes with 2 megapixel camera, an MP3/AAC/eAAC+/WMA media player, runs Symbian Series 40 and measures 109 x 44 x 14mm and weighs 82 grams.
The phone will be available Q3 this year (in China) and will cost about 210 Euros.

Well, it does look good but only on the pictures!! The sad truth is that when i saw this thing displayed out in the shops everywhere here in China, it was such a big disappointment. I can only describe it as plasticy. the dual finish of shiny plastic and matt sadly makes it all the more toylike.
