Sagem offers the new 3G clamshell phone, my850v recently. It is the latest glossy handset to hit the market, and it is a cell phone in a flip design and unique mirrored front.

At first glance, the my850v looks a little like the popular Sony Ericsson Z610. This particular handset will be exclusively available on the Vodafone network. It’s fairly lightweight and slim for a 3G phone, measures 96 x 49 x 16 mm and weighs 95 grams.

The Sagem my850v is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera that can take videos, as well as a VGA camera at the front for video conferencing. Besides, it also comes with secondary video calling camera, and a 2″ 240×320 pixels QVGA LCD display in 262K colours.

An integrated MP3 player is available in the phone, and it support for 3D games. The phone is comes together with microSD expandable memory and stereo Bluetooth.

The mirrored surface conceals a 96×64 pixel display which shows caller information or audio track details, and even notifying you of a text message. There is also a set of concealed multimedia control keys which light up when the my850v is playing music.

It is a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz device with UMTS 2100 MHz 3G support. It also supports GPRS and EDGE data. The my850v should be available directly from Vodafone in the UK and possibly other regions from July 2007.
