Sony Ericsson W580i
Sony Ericsson has just announced its new Walkman phone W580i last tuesday. The W580i is a rare slider phone from Sony Ericsson which is a slim music phone with full Walkman features such as gaming, imaging and fitness applications.
The Sony Ericsson W580i is available in Urban Grey or Style White colors and it sports a 2.0-inch QVGA screen with 240×320 pixels display in 262K colours and 2.0-megapixel camera. The W580i which is measures 99 x47 x 14mm and weighs 94g also comes with the Memory Stick Micro cards (up to 2GB with 512MB included), EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, USB connectivity, built-in FM tuner, and “music illumination” effects.
The new walkman phone comes with a W580i kit where you get a stereo headset and everything you need to get your music from your computer to your phone. Just Connect, select and transfer. The W580i keeps track of your progress in training and monitor monitor your running speed and performance.
The 2.0 megapixels built-in digital camera features screen viewfinder, dedicated menus and direct interaction with in-phone imaging and messaging features. It also functioning as a portable photo album and pocket gaming device. You can upload your pictures to your personal blog for sharing.
The W580i comes with the well-regarded multimedia setup found in other Walkman branded phones, plus a web browser, email client, RSS reader and others applications. With numerous 3D games already preloaded on the W580i, the large 2.0-inch color screen is ideal for gaming as well as web browsing and viewing camera photos.
With TrackID, you can just record a few seconds of music and it returns the song name, artist and album to your phone within seconds. It’s easy for you to identify music tracks not recognized.

when does this phone arrive at stores? my old cell phone contract is up, and i want to replace it with this one, but the at&t store by my house says that it hasn’t come in yet. they are also out of stock online. help!
